A lovely morning, up very early as usual. My ageing Canon scanner has been playing up for some time after working well for a number of years. I’ve dismantled it and it appears to be a problem with the ribbon cable between the sensor and main circuit board, I could repair it but as it’s now fairly old and lower resolution than current models I decided that it’s time to get a replacement. I don’t scan a large number of things but I need a scanner that will scan documents, photographs for retouching and negatives up to medium format sizes so I decided to purchase the Canon 8400F, it’s an upgraded and higher resolution model that is very similar in design to my current scanner, it should arrive early next week.<\/p>\n
We had lunch at John and Ida’s in Pontypridd, they make delicious home made rice pudding. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
