A sunny bright Sunday

A lovely morning, up very early as usual. My ageing Canon scanner has been playing up for some time after working well for a number of years. I’ve dismantled it and it appears to be a problem with the ribbon cable between the sensor and main circuit board, I could repair it but as it’s now fairly old and lower resolution than current models I decided that it’s time to get a replacement. I don’t scan a large number of things but I need a scanner that will scan documents, photographs for retouching and negatives up to medium format sizes so I decided to purchase the Canon 8400F, it’s an upgraded and higher resolution model that is very similar in design to my current scanner, it should arrive early next week.

We had lunch at John and Ida’s in Pontypridd, they make delicious home made rice pudding. 🙂

A relaxing evening at home.
