A quiet Monday

I had an appointment at The Royal Glamorgan Hospital this morning and then some shopping at Tesco and Makro.

I’m having some problems with SessionSaver one of my Firefox add ins that saves all the open tabs when you close the browser, it’s developed an annoying habbit of duplicating all the tabs. Uninstalling and re-installing hasn’t cured the problem.

A damp Sunday

We had lunch at home today and watched the rugby, a great match and Wales won Wales 28 Scotland 18. 🙂

I’m currently looking for a colour laser printer for general printing rather than continuing to use my A3 Canon i9100 inkjet which has a voracious apetite for ink cartridges. I see that Samsung have a new personal colour laser printer, the CLP-300 with a price of £179.99 including vat. It is apparently the smallest colour laser printer currently being manufactured, unfortunately I can’t find anywhere that yet has one in stock.

A cloudy Saturday

Performed a little tweak to my Navman GPS so that I could boot it up as a pocket pc, I suppose I could use it to play MP3s, it was an interesting experiment but I set it back so that it once more boots straight into the GPS software.

Monday – my quiet day

Received a telephone call from the Comet delivery driver at 9:55 to let me know that the washer drier would be with us in ten minutes. Ten minutes later and the machine had been delivered and the old one taken away, a few minutes later I’d unpacked the new machine and plumbed it in.

The weather is a little milder today so I turned the water supply back on to the outside tap and pressure washed both of the 5 series BMWs, they certainly needed it.

David called around this evening and monopolised the computer.
