Happy 21st Birthday Paul

My son Paul is 21 today, happy birthday!

I dropped some images of the floral decorations I’d taken last Saturday at Bryngarw House off at Talbot Florists in Talbot Green this morning. Shopping at Tesco and a trip in to Pontypridd. Called in to see my mum, then a quiet evening relaxing.

A colder Wednesday

David ran out of petrol again this morning so I had to go out yet again with my petrol can, he refilled it this time. 🙂

Obtained a number of insurance quotes for my photographic equipment, professional insurance is still very expensive but a necessary evil, I’ve decided to stay with my current insurers.

A wet Tuesday

Called in to the RS trade counter this morning to collect an order, I then went to Leekes to do a little shopping and have lunch. I bought a new wireless front door bell that has a chime unit that plugs into the mains, the old unit ran on batteries with a very short life and no warning when they were flat. Returned home and installed the new door bell, it works very well.

Claire has a brand new blog, so I’ve been catching up on her trip to Scotland and looking at the images she’s posted.

A busy Monday

I called over to Caerphilly to collect a new head for my Manfrotto monopod. Various correspondence and admin filled most of the afternoon. I Posted a CD to the lab for a variety of prints. I went over to my mum’s later this afternoon, she lives just off Church Road, which runs between Ton-teg (where she lives) and Upper Church Village (where I live), unfortunately Church Road is closed today for a couple of weeks and it’s total grid-lock on all the local roads. It took me two hours to drive back from my mum’s to home, a distance of about a mile! 🙁 The green BMW is booked in to Chris Babbage on Thursday for some work on the brakes.
