Filled a number of holes in the dining room wall in preparation for painting. I spent a little more time trying out the Adobe Lightroom beta, I must say I really like the application, just hope that Adobe can make it run a lot faster when the live version is released.

A hot Monday
The first day of the Royal Welsh Show, I watched a little on television this morning.
I currently have Norton Internet Security 2006 working on the main pc as long as I don’t take any program updates, waiting for the latest response from Symantec Escalation Support.
A hot Sunday
Lunch at John and Ida’s and shopping at Sainsbury’s in Thornhill. A fairly quiet day.
A hot Saturday
I met with Sam and Sophie this afternoon for their pre-wedding meeting, I last saw them over a year ago so it was very nice catching up with them again and going over their plans for their wedding day.
A warm Friday
I finished making up Alistair and Amy’s wedding album today and Amy collected it this afternoon.
A cooler Thursday
The temperature today is much more comfortable. Downloaded the new Adobe Lightroom Beta, it’s a very interesting piece of software for processing raw image files, it runs a little slowly but seems to do a great job on conversions, white balance and corrections.
An even hotter Tuesday
The french doors between the dining room and the conservatory were installed today together with the window sills in the conservatory, only the skirting to be fitted once the laminate flooring has been laid. I went to Caerphilly this afternoon, the road through Treforest Industrial Estate was closed due to a light aircraft crash landing on the carriageway, fortunately there weren’t any serious injuries.
A very hot Monday
Julian completed the electrical work in the conservatory this morning, we now have power, it’s also good to have the ceiling fan working with the weather so warm.
A hot Sunday
Julian the electrician completed the installation of the electrics in the conservatory this morning, he’s back in the morning to connect and test the installation. We’ve selected the laminate flooring for the conservatory, dining room and living room. Lunch at John and Ida’s in Pontypridd and some shopping at B&Q. Finished filling the skip.
A very warm Saturday
I spent most of the day dismantling the old shed, it’s now in the skip. The top layer of the floor has been laid in the new conservatory, it will take three days to dry.
