Filled a number of holes in the dining room wall in preparation for painting. I spent a little more time trying out the Adobe Lightroom beta, I must say I really like the application, just hope that Adobe can make it run a lot faster when the live version is released.

An even hotter Tuesday
The french doors between the dining room and the conservatory were installed today together with the window sills in the conservatory, only the skirting to be fitted once the laminate flooring has been laid. I went to Caerphilly this afternoon, the road through Treforest Industrial Estate was closed due to a light aircraft crash landing on the carriageway, fortunately there weren’t any serious injuries.
A hot Sunday
Julian the electrician completed the installation of the electrics in the conservatory this morning, he’s back in the morning to connect and test the installation. We’ve selected the laminate flooring for the conservatory, dining room and living room. Lunch at John and Ida’s in Pontypridd and some shopping at B&Q. Finished filling the skip.
A roasting Tuesday
Temperatures around 35 degrees Celsius today, very warm. Work continues on the conservatory, the roof is now on and it’s mainly the glazing and cutting the entrance from the dining room. David and Hannah called in this evening. Claire rang she’s driving down on Friday to spend the week with us. 🙂
A warm and dry Wednesday
I bled the central heating system this morning and tested it after removing the radiator that was in the dining room. The outside wall was cut ready for the conservatory installation next week. The new shed has been arranged for delivey tomorrow morning.
No Welsh class this evening as Laura, Julie’s daughter, is going on holiday to America tomorrow.
A wet Monday
I removed a central heating radiator from the dining room today, it was positioned right in the middle of where the new French doors are going to gain access to the conservatory. The new garden shed is scheduled for delivery this week and as soon as I’ve put it together and demolished the old metal shed with the remains of the old fences we’ll have enough material to fill a third skip. My household agenda is looking fairly full for the next few weeks – painting the new fences, putting together the new shed, running armoured cable for the new shed supply, fitting roofing panels and guttering to the car port.
