A damp Friday

Just returned from RAF Marham where we were once again invited to present the basketball trophy at the annual tournament in memory of our eldest son James. Congratulations to Jonesy’s Boys from the ECM Bay who won the competition for the second year running. We had a terrific time, it was great to see everyone again. We were also fortunate in being invited to visit the section yesterday morning for coffee before heading back. Special thanks to Keith, Claire, Lee, Andy, Gill, Mal, The Chief – Nigel, The Warrant Officer – Steve and everyone else for all the organisation and making our visit once again so special.

We also couldn’t be in Norfolk without visiting all the family and catching up on everything that’s been happening, we had a terrific time. Now need to go on a diet to return to the weight before the trip. 🙂

Toast and coffee for breakfast and discharged from hospital following the ward round at nine o’clock. The staff on Ward 7 at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital are really nice.

It’s nice to be back home, a quiet day spent catching up on emails.

David and Hannah visited this evening.

I went into the Royal Glamorgan Hospital this morning, nothing to eat after 7:30 and a trip to the operating theatre at 16:30. A few sandwiches and coffee this evening.

A wet Thursday

Llantrisant for some shopping and a coffee at Starbucks.

I had an album delivery today so have another album to make up over the next few days.

I installed the new version of TDA – the design software from Albums Australia, this afternoon, it has a number of enhancements which look very interesting.

Monday in hospital

I can eat again, I had a few rounds of toast and coffee for breakfast and apple pie and custard for lunch. Had my dressings changed (ouch!) and I’m now allowed home. My mum gave me a lift home from the hospital, it’s nice to be home again. 🙂

Amy and Alistair called in this evening, as they’re just back from honeymoon, to collect their wedding pack (DVD slideshow and virtual album on CD). It was a lovely wedding at Bryngarw House.
