No Welsh class this evening as Julie isn’t well. David and Hannah called in this evening.
A trip to the Volkswagen dealer in Cardiff this morning and breakfast and shopping at Tesco Extra in Talbot Green on the way back. The builders started work this morning on the footings for the new conservatory.
The antibiotics are so far working well so I’m managing to avoid an immediate visit back to the hospital for more traumatic treatment options. Sent more print orders off to the lab this morning. A visit to the bank to pay in another batch of cheques then on to Piccadilly Photographic in Cardiff to replenish my stock of folders followed by some shopping at Morrisons in Llanishen.
A quiet evening relaxing.
I spent the day finishing the processing of the images from Mark and Laura’s wedding. I loaded their web gallery and they’re delighted with the photographs. FA cup final in Cardiff today 🙂
I called in to Cardiff this morning and test drove a Nissan Patrol SGX GR with a 4L diesel engine, it’s a bit of a monster but I decided to buy it, I haven’t driven anything quite that large for some time, it needs a little TLC but the price was very tempting – might regret it later. Just need to make some room on the drive for it. 🙂
I took the green BMW 525i down to Chris Babbage’s garage in Cardiff this morning for Chris to sort out the brakes. I caught the train back from Cathays to Treforest and then the bus to Church Village. Collected the car this evening, new track rod end, brake pads and discs. It’s much nicer to drive now!
I had an appointment with the hygienist first thing this morning in Cardiff, called into Tesco at Upper Boat on the way back for breakfast and a little shopping. I called over to see my mum this afternoon and she was actually at home! Installed a few more programs on the new notebook, just about all the key software I need is now on it. Submitted my VAT return on-line using the e-vat system, I just wish entering up all my sales and purchases etc. into the accounting package was as quick and easy.
Claire and I went to Newport this morning and travelled on the Newport Transporter Bridge it’s a superb way to travel over the river and a real snip at 50p each way. Here’s a photograph of Claire taking some photographs at the bridge.
We then had a walk around the grounds of Tredegar House and then to Cardiff for lunch at KFC followed by shopping at Tesco and a visit to Cefn Parc to take fresh flowers.
We all went to the Showcase Cinema this evening to watch The Hills Have Eyes it has some very good effects.
I was in Cardiff this morning as I had to drive David in, his car appears to have a broken gearbox. 🙁 Called in to Piccadilly Photographic’s new premises in Llanishen, then visited the bank. I called at Makro on the way back to do a little business shopping.
