It’s been more like winter the last few days, today is no exception very damp and dreary. We took my mum out for Sunday lunch to John and Ida’s in Pontypridd. A generally relaxing Sunday.

A mainly dry Saturday
A trip to the Volkswagen dealer in Cardiff this morning and breakfast and shopping at Tesco Extra in Talbot Green on the way back. The builders started work this morning on the footings for the new conservatory.
A damp and cold Friday
I went to the Welsh Coffee morning at the Butchers in Llantrisant this morning, I haven’t been for a few weeks and it was really nice to see everyone again. Called over to my mum’s on the way back home. A quiet evening.
A mixed Thursday
I had to visit the Post Office in Church Village this morning and couldn’t resist the temptation of having breakfast at the bakery next door. 🙂 Called over to see my mum this morning and David and Hannah called in this evening.
A very wet Wednesday
Amy called in lunchtime to collect her mum’s print order. I went to Caerphilly this afternoon and did a little shopping. Welsh class this evening.
Happy Birthday to me!
Yes today is my birthday, I had the Annabel Williams Book of Wedding and Portrait Photography as a present. I had a visit from British Gas this morning to quote for a new central heating system, interesting sales techniques these days with discounts for ordering today, limited time offers etc., certainly a harder sell from them than in the past.
I finished making up some print orders, everything on the production side is up to date but I need to spend some time getting my accounts entered up.
I called over to see my mum this afternoon and a relaxing evening at home.
Monday, my quiet day – well almost
The antibiotics are so far working well so I’m managing to avoid an immediate visit back to the hospital for more traumatic treatment options. Sent more print orders off to the lab this morning. A visit to the bank to pay in another batch of cheques then on to Piccadilly Photographic in Cardiff to replenish my stock of folders followed by some shopping at Morrisons in Llanishen.
A quiet evening relaxing.
A relaxing Sunday
Shopping at Tesco Extra in Talbot Green this morning and then Sunday lunch at John & Ida’s in Pontypridd. Cleaning the Passat this afternoon with a little ‘help’ from the twins (Chloe and Anita). Here’s a photograph of one half of the twins.

A busy Saturday
I spent the day finishing the processing of the images from Mark and Laura’s wedding. I loaded their web gallery and they’re delighted with the photographs. FA cup final in Cardiff today 🙂
Mark and Laura’s Wedding
We had the pleasure today of photographing Mark and Laura’s wedding at the Manor House Hotel, Penarth. It was a lovely ceremony with great guests. We were even lucky with the weather as it started to pour with rain just as we finished the group shots.
